Lane's Story

Lane is our first child. We survived six weeks of hospital bedrest before he arrived. He made his appearance on April 13th 2010 weighing 4lb 12oz and 16in long. He had a large lesion on his back called spina bifida and fluid on his brain (hydrocephalus) but was absolutely perfect. He has had six surgeries including a back closure, shunt placement with 2 revisions, and a trach and gtube placement surgery. He is the most amazing little boy and brightens our lives with his presence. You will find our stories in the posts below. Enjoy having a look at what our awesome life is all about!
